Electronic Data Interchange

EDI is the transmission in a standard syntax of unambiguous information of business or strategic significance between computers of independent organizations. The main advantage is that, EDI users don’t have to change their internal data base to exchange information. In others words, EDI is the common “language” used to get information from one computer to another.
Advantages linked to the implementation of EDI by BMS are large:
